Recipe : DAAB CHINGRI

INGREDIENTS
6 pieces SF Cambay Prawns Peeled – 35-40 with tail
1 piece Tender Coconut
50ml Coconut Cream
50g Kasundi
3g Turmeric
50ml Mustard Oil
50g Onion
5g Chopped Ginger
2g Sugar
3g Green Chilli
Salt To Taste
METHOD
” Marinate the prawn with salt, turmeric, kasundi and mustard oil for 45 mins .
” Heat the oil, add chopped onion, ginger, green chilli & brown it.
” Add the prawns, remaining kasundi & coconut milk.
” Add salt & sugar & cover for 5 mins.
” Mix the roughly chopped tender coconut flesh.
” Pour in the shell & serve with steamed rice
