The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET), Vijayawada, organized a Best Practices Presentation on 4th September, on the eve of Teachers’ Day, where various departments showcased their innovative approaches to academic and institutional development. The event was evaluated by Mr. Peeyush Manohar Pahade, President of the IQAC Cluster – India, who highlighted the significance of such initiatives in strengthening quality benchmarks and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in higher education.
The program aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NAAC accreditation standards, both of which emphasize innovation, experiential learning, inclusivity, and holistic student development. Departments presented a range of initiatives, including Strategic Student Tracers (EEE), Students for Activity KAIROS (MBA), Outcome-Based Teaching and Learning (Science and Humanities), Project-Based Learning (IT), Innovative Pedagogical Methods (CSE), Inclusive Excellence for Girl Scholars (CSM), Industry-Related Learning Activities (Civil), Skill Development through IoT and Embedded Systems (ECE), and Industry-Oriented Labs with Siemens and APSSDC (Mechanical).
Following a rigorous evaluation, the IT Department secured first prize, the EEE Department won second place, and the ECE Department received third place, reflecting their commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and quality enhancement in alignment with national priorities and global educational standards.
The visionary leadership of Rev. Fr. Dr. Joji Reddy, S.J., Secretary and Director, elevated the event to meet the highest academic standards. Rev.Fr. Dr.S. Emmanuel’s observations and feedback made a reflective impact on the presentations, while Dr. O. Mahesh, Principal, took meticulous care in reviewing all best practices and offering relevant insights. Their collective guidance and encouragement fostered an environment of excellence, innovation, and holistic development. The steadfast support and commitment of the management team continue to inspire both faculty and students to pursue higher standards and embrace transformative practices. The IQAC team provided dedicated support to ensure the smooth organization and success of the event.
