Chennai, September 20th, 2025: CREDAI Chennai, in collaboration with Shree Sai Healing Trust, has launched a city-wide Cancer Awareness and Screening Program exclusively for construction workers. The initiative has already commenced at CREDAI Chennai member developers’ project sites and will cover nearly 5,000 construction workers during the month of September 2025. By the end of the year, the program aims to reach and screen over 20,000 Construction workforce across the city.
The program brings free cancer awareness and screening camps directly to construction sites, enabling workers to undergo medical checks and receive vital guidance on early detection without disrupting their daily work routine. Alongside screenings, the camps also focus on educating workers about preventive care and lifestyle practices to reduce health risks.
