EESL Unveils Beta Version of eeslmart.in: India’s exclusive E-commerce Platform for Energy Efficiency Solutions

This platform dedicated exclusively to energy efficiency offers affordable energy-efficiency appliances and solutions, removing information asymmetry around benefits and availability of appliances.

New Delhi, February 05, 2024: Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture of Public Sector Undertakings under the Ministry of Power, proudly announces the launch of the Beta version of its revolutionary e-commerce platform – eeslmart.in. This B2C and B2B platform is set to become the go-to destination for energy efficiency appliances and solutions, offering universal access to affordable and sustainable options for environmentally conscious consumers.

The beta version of the platform debuts with a curated selection of energy-efficient appliances, including 9-Watt 3 Star bulbs, Invertor LED lamps, and 5 Star fans. EESL plans to expand its offerings to include 5 -star bulbs and other luminaires, super-efficient ACs, energy-efficient motors, Electric bicycles, and induction cookstoves etc. The aim is to position eeslmart.in as the premier destination for energy-efficient solutions, providing an affordable, seamless, and efficient procure-to-pay and order-to-cash experience.

Hon’ble Finance Minister has recognized the significant impact of LED lamps and the Streetlighting National Programme in her Budget Speech, emphasizing their contribution to Amrit Kaal. EESL’s digital initiative of an e-commerce platform dedicated exclusively to energy efficiency aligns with the vision to popularize energy-efficient solutions, fostering wider adoption of such products and services. Inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), this move encourages inclusivity and collaboration, contributing to the achievement of sustainable goals set by the Government of India.
