BANGALORE, INDIA – 21st December 2023 –HARMAN India a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. focused on connected technologies for automotive, consumer, and enterprise markets is delighted to announce its continued collaboration for the 8th season of Formula Bharat, India’s foremost Formula Student Competition, being held in Kari Motors Driveway at Coimbatore from January 19- 24, 2024.
As one of the highlights of the event, HARMAN India has introduced the HARMAN Automotive Innovation Challenge 2024′ as an integral component of the Special Awards category during Formula Bharat 2024. The challenge is designed to boost the development of pioneering ideas that tackle real-life problems and provide significant value to consumers in India. The top three winners will not only be acknowledged for their innovative concepts but also have the chance to receive exciting JBL products.
Participants are encouraged to enter the challenge by presenting ideas that redefine the connected car/connectivity solutions, in-vehicle infotainment systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), mobility solutions, electric vehicle technologies and IOT / cloud solutions for mobility. The competition comprises two rounds, with a submission deadline of December 23rd. The results of stage1 will be announced on 5th January 2024 followed by a virtual idea pitch on 15th January. The winners will be announced the next day at the Formula Bharat 2024 award Ceremony.

Formula Bharat is a free-for-all Indian Formula Student engineering design competition in which students from colleges and universities all over the country compete with a life-size, formula-style vehicle in areas of engineering design, overall cost, marketability, and dynamic performance.
