IMS Noida Hosts ‘Management Nexus’ Competition to Celebrate Innovation, Leadership, and Creativity

Noida: The Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida organized ‘Management Nexus’, an event at a collegiate level aiming to enhance students’ leadership, creativity, and innovative thinking skills in a superior manner. More than 100 teams of Delhi-NCR colleges’ actively participated in the event, and over 300 participants showcased their talent through activities.

The event included thrilling activities like Role Play, Reel Making, Fireless Cooking, Business Quiz, Green Craft, Canvas of Change, Quirky Fashion, and Rhythmic Reverie that allowed the students to demonstrate their imagination, managerial abilities, and business acumen.

At the event, Director General, IMS Noida, Prof. Dr. Vikas Dhawan said, “Today’s event is not a competition but an experience to bring innovation, leadership, and out-of-the-box thinking. I congratulate all the students for their excellent exhibition of ideas, creativity, and managerial skills, and for making the success of Management Nexus in a positive way possible.”

Dr. Neelam Saxena, Dean, IMS Noida, stressed the need of moulding young minds and quoted that young minds were full of endless potential, which could be released with proper guidance, best possible environment, and hard work in reality.

She also said, “Such events give the students a wonderful platform to experiment and find out their strengths, and step towards a bountiful future.”.

Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Head of Department, IMS School of Management, stated that IMS Noida offers students experiential learning, industry interface, and live settings. “Management Nexus validates our insistence on the congruence of theoretical education and practice,” he further elaborated to explain.

The event concluded with the Green Craft competition, where students showcased their commitment to environmental conservation by creating sustainable accessories. This was followed by the Canvas of Change poster-making contest, reflecting the students’ awareness and innovative thinking on various social issues. The afternoon saw a burst of colors and creativity with the Quirky Fusion Fashion Show, where students mesmerized the audience by donning unique outfits crafted from recycled materials. The day’s celebrations culminated with the Rhythmic Reverie dance competition, where high-energy performances across different styles had the audience tapping their feet in excitement.

The event was organized by BBA Faculty Members – Prof. Chesta Jindal, Prof. Shikha Gupta, and Prof. Yatika Rastogi, and co-organized with faculty and student participation.

This two-day intercollegiate competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from several prestigious institutions, including IMS Noida, IMS Law College, IMS Ghaziabad, DME, Galgotias University, ABES-IT, MMH College, Ishan Institute of Law, Lajpat Rai College, Inmantec Institutions, Mata Sundri College, Delhi University, among many others.
