Panipat, 16th July, 2024 – With an aim to ensure students are equipped to make the most of the opportunities after completing their college education, the Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) organised the LEAD Workshop 2024 from July 8 to July 12. The students had the opportunity to interact with experts who shared valuable insights and advice based on their own experiences. These interactions not only provided the students with valuable guidance but also helped them build valuable relationships that could potentially benefit them in their future career aspirations.
Ashneer Grover, Founder, BharatPe, enriched the LEAD Workshop with his presence and shared his views on developing necessary skill sets and steps needed to build a successful startup at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium at the PIET Campus.
Speaking on his experience of interacting with the students, Ashneer Grover, Founder, BharatPe, said: “In today’s world, it is extremely essential that students have understanding and knowledge of skills beyond their academic requirements to find a footing in the professional world. I am glad that I am getting an opportunity to interact with young minds who will shape the future of our country and want to thank Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology for organising the workshop. I hope the students will gain insights which will help them navigate the dynamic world that they are going to step into after completing their education.”
Highlighting the essence of the Lead Workshop, Rakesh Tayal, Vice Chairman, PIET, said: “The initiative is aimed at providing students an opportunity to glean insights from top achievers from luminaries from the business world and gain valuable knowledge about market trends and future growth. The LEAD workshop was meticulously planned to ensure that the students received maximum benefit from the interactions. It was structured in a way that allowed for open dialogue and exchange of ideas between the experts and the students. This interactive format created a conducive environment for learning and helped the students gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the industry.”
The workshop also included practical case studies and real-world scenarios that challenged the students to apply their learnings in a practical context. By working through these scenarios under the guidance of industry experts, the students were able to develop critical thinking skills and analytical abilities needed to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.
LEAD Workshop 2024 demonstrates PIET’s commitment towards bridging the gap between academia and industry and preparing students for their professional endeavours.
