Preeti Jhangiani, President of the People’s Armwrestling Federation India (PAFI) and Vice-President of the Asian Armwrestling Federation, is leading India’s participation at the 46th World Armwrestling Championship and the 27th Para-Armwrestling Championship, scheduled to take place in Albena, Bulgaria, from September 10 to 22, 2025. Under her leadership, India is preparing with full strength and determination to make its presence felt on the global stage. Jhangiani, who has been instrumental in elevating the sport in the country, will be representing India with pride while authorizing and guiding the national delegation. The championship is set to host over 60 countries and more than 1,500 athletes, officials, and supporters, making it one of the grandest showcases of armwrestling worldwide.
