Ravindra Kushawaha is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Lok Sabha constituency of Salempur in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Ravindra Kushawaha defeated his nearest rival Ravi Shanker Singh (Pappu) of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) by a margin of more than 2.3 lakh votes. Throughout his political career, Ravindra has done work to help the exploited and poor people in the society. He has also been active in organizing social and cultural programs that seek to spread awareness on various topics and preserve the local culture and traditions of the hinterland.
Early Life and Education
Ravindra Kushawaha was born on December 01, 1962 to Shri Harikewal Prasad and Smt. Ganesh Devi. He was born in Mahthapar, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. He has studied up to Intermediate level and received education at Gautam Inter College, Pipra, Ramghar, Dist. Deoria (Uttar Pradesh). On May 26, 1985, he married Bindu Devi.

In his free time, Ravindra Kushawaha likes to listen to songs, music and poetry. He also likes to read books on general knowledge, literature and party policies. For good health, he practices yoga and goes for morning walks.
