According to the Indian Council of Medical Research’s (ICMR) National Cancer Registry Programme (NCRP), breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women, contributing to nearly one-third of all female cancer cases in certain regions.
Amid these statistics, Erika King, MD ’19, St. George’s University (SGU) graduate, now a Breast Surgical Oncologist, outlines 5 essential breast health tips every woman in India should know, because knowledge, early detection, and proactive care can truly save lives.
