U-Sphere inks its first Landmark Project: Ceenex in Thiruvananthapuram

Bengaluru, June 12, 2025: U-Sphere, the newly launched high-tech construction arm of ULCCS, has signed its first marquee project: the design and build of the training facility of Canada based Ceenex Global Computer Private Limited in Sasthamangalam, Thiruvananthapuram. This project signals U-Sphere’s move into the private sector and reflects the steady growth of Kerala’s infrastructure sector. Mr. Remeshan Palery, Director, U-Sphere, and Mr. Muhammed Irfan, Director, Ceenex Global signed the agreement.

As part of the agreement, U-Sphere will undertake the delivery of the core structural framework and building envelope for the new training facility of Ceenex Global Computer Private Limited. The project is set to be completed within a streamlined seven-month timeline, laying a strong foundation for the phased execution of interior fit-outs and additional components in subsequent stages. Once operational, the facility will act as a key anchor for Ceenex’s digital transformation initiatives across e-governance, healthcare, energy, and smart mobility—further underscoring Kerala’s rising prominence as a destination for technology-driven investments.

Sharing his views on the signing of this agreement, Mr. Fariz A Razaq, COO, U-Sphere said,“This partnership with Ceenex marks a strategic milestone for U-Sphere, showcasing our capability to deliver world-class, tech-enabled construction that is both sustainable and will be completed in record time. We are committed to advancing our construction journey with intent, innovation, and meaningful impact.

The project is expected to generate a range of direct and indirect job opportunities—from construction to high-skill tech roles. U-Sphere itself has set an ambitious five-year goal: to create over 1,000 jobs and secure ₹2,000 crore in new projects across Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.

Sharing his views on the new training facility, Mr. Muhammed Irfan, Director, Ceenex Global, said: “We needed a partner who shares our vision and agility—U-Sphere brought both,” said Mr. Irfan“This is just the beginning of a long-term collaboration rooted in shared ambition and execution excellence.”

With operations in seven countries and a portfolio spanning cybersecurity, DevOps, big data, and digital infrastructure, Ceenex is making a long-term strategic bet on Kerala. The new facility will act as a springboard for its India growth, while catalysing local employment and innovation.

Launched as ULCCS celebrates 100 years of engineering excellence, U-Sphere focuses on pre-engineered, modular, and sustainable construction methods—integrating AI analytics, IoT-enabled monitoring, and digital project management to drive speed, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

This partnership represents a larger shift in how infrastructure meets innovation in the region. By enabling future-ready workspaces for global enterprises, U-Sphere is helping build an ecosystem of purpose-driven growth that blends global ambition with local impact.
