Nationwide Release: 11th September 2025 —
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Global Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Krishnanagar, successfully organized the Internal Hackathon 2025 on 9th and 10th September 2025, transforming the campus brought creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving aspects.
The two-day event brought together students from across the Engineering and Management departments, who presented a wide range of innovative projects and impactful solutions addressing real-world challenges. With strong teamwork, technical expertise, and passion, participants demonstrated how young minds can shape the future with innovation-driven ideas.
From advanced technology prototypes to practical problem-solving models, the hackathon reflected the interdisciplinary spirit of GIMT and its commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship among students. The event not only highlighted the technical acumen of participants but also promoted leadership, collaboration, and creative thinking.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sudipto Bhattacharyya, Principal of GIMT, said, “The Internal Hackathon 2025 has once again proven that our students are ready to take on real-world challenges with creativity and determination. We are extremely proud of the innovative spirit they showcased throughout the event.”
Adding his perspective, Subhankar Das, Executive Chairman of Global Knowledge Campus, shared, “At Global Knowledge Campus, we believe in empowering students with the skills to think beyond boundaries. The Internal Hackathon 2025 reinforced GIMT’s vision of fostering academic excellence, innovation, and industry readiness, while preparing its students to represent the institute at larger platforms like the Smart India Hackathon 2025.
