Kunwar Haribansh Singh is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Lok Sabha constituency of Pratapgarh in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Singh is a member of Apna Dal (AD), a regional political party in Uttar Pradesh. In the 2014 LokSabha elections,KunwarHaribansh Singh defeated his nearest rival Asif Nizamuddin Siddique from Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) by a margin of more than 1,65,000 votes. Throughout his political career, Singh has remained committed to initiatives that seek to help the poor and marginalized sections of the society. Singh has often used his own funds to finance the wedding of poor women through group wedding projects. He has been providing financial assistance to sick people through Smt. Sonpatti Devi Memorial Medical Trust. Singh has also provided for the needs of poor students, which includes things like their books, uniforms, school fees, etc. Singh has also been associated with a wide variety of social and cultural activities.
Early Life and Education
Kunwar Haribansh Singh was born on September 4, 1950 to Shri Ramakbal Singh and Smt. Sonpatti Devi. He was born in Basti Bandgan, which is located in Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh. Singh completed his education, B.Sc. (Ag) from T.D. College, University of Gorakhpur, Jaunpur (U.P.). He married Indrawati Singh on March 20, 1962, but he is now a widower.

Ltd.
