Sangamlal Kadedin Gupta is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Lok Sabha constituency of Pratapgarh in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In 2019 general elections, Sangamlal Kadedin Gupta defeated his nearest rival Ashok Kumar Tripathi of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) by a margin of more than 1.17 lakh votes. While Gupta received close to 4.36 lakh votes, his nearest rival got around 3.18 lakh votes. Prior to winning Lok Sabha election, Sangamlal had also served as a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Uttar Pradesh.
Throughout his political career, Sangamlal had focused on providing for the needs of the common man. Some of his key contributions include setting up of major educational centers in Pratapgarh and Prayagraj districts, building of Lucknow Varanasi national highway, setting up of special centers that provide online public services to the poor, and launch of large scale food distribution program.
Early Life and Education
Sangamlal Kadedin Gupta was born on April 01, 1971 to Shri Kadedin Mattan Gupta and Smt. Dhanrajidevi Gupta. He was born in Katra Medniganj, which is located in Pratapgarh district in Uttar Pradesh. Sangamlal has studied up to 8th standard and is a businessperson by profession. He married Santradevi Gupta on May 18, 1989.

Spiritual guidance to the poor and collective weddings are among the key projects started by Sangamlal. His daily routine includes reading newspaper, meditation and swimming. In sports, he likes to play badminton.
