Gautam Solar beats Chinese competition, exporting Solar Panels to Ghana

Gautam Solar, a leading Indian solar module manufacturing company, celebrates its successful export of cutting-edge solar modules to Ghana. Despite intense competition from Chinese manufacturers dominating the African market, Gautam Solar prevailed.

The manufacturer, with 27+ years of experience in solar, delivered its high-efficiency 545 Wp Mono PERC Solar Modules in December 2023. These modules have a number of distinct features. Their bigger M10 cells allow them to generate more power. Their cutting-edge 10BB structure with round ribbon helps deliver minimum electrical losses and improves light capture. Additionally, their half-cut design using NDC ensures the modules remain free of micro-cracks and enables good performance, even in low-light. Their pioneering Glass to Backsheet Bifacial technology enhances the power generation by providing additional power from the rear side.

With a focus on quality and reliability, Gautam Solar’s modules exceed industry standards, making them a preferred choice for solar system integrators, project developers and EPC companies. This achievement demonstrates Gautam Solar’s ability to compete globally while upholding its commitment to excellence.

“We’re proud to bring our premium solar modules to Ghana,” said Gautam Mohanka, CEO of Gautam Solar. “This success highlights our dedication to innovation and quality, proving that Indian companies can thrive in competitive markets, thereby amplifying the Indian government’s vision of “Make in India, Make for the world.” We’re confident that this success will help us make further inroads in Africa and other export markets.”
